Join in with our seasonal supernatural thrillers

In the Northern Hemisphere, the nights are now drawing in, the temperature beginning to cool. It’s a perfect time to enjoy the dark excitement of one of our new supernatural thrillers. The lurking dangers vary, but with all these stories, you never know whether it’s safe to turn the page. Anything could happen next…

The zombie hordes threaten constantly in Death Flu by Scott Brietzke, but the most shocking scenes showcase the depravity of the human survivors.

In Bridge of Blood by Philip McCormac, when the demon Llaldaboth, instigator of the Portadown Massacre, is set free, you know something from the start that the police detectives do not: that this demon respects no boundaries — no depravity is too low.

Dark witches, werewolves, demons, vampires, and the Grim Reaper: the onslaught in Reaper’s Walk: Hellstone by Don Franklin appears overwhelming, but the Harper women never give up, and sometimes alliances can be made with the most evil of creatures.

All three supernatural thrillers will be launched in the coming weeks. Want to get involved early? Read on for invitations to beta reader teams and advanced review copies. If you’re on the beta reader team mailing list, or you’ve already contacted me about these books, then I’ll be contacting you directly very soon.

Invitation: Advanced review copy. In return for an honest review on Amazon or Goodreads, we will supply you with an eBook (worldwide) or paperback (UK, US only)

Launch date: 2012

Language/ setting: American English. Setting: America as you’ve never seen it before.

Subject: zombie thriller. Post-apocalyptic survivors.

To follow

We’ve more chilling excitement coming at the start of 2013 in Thomas Rydder’s supernatural thriller The Clearing. We’ll also have Conjure, a short novel by Mark West, set in the same fictional town of Gaffney as his acclaimed novelette, The Mill and In the Rain with the Dead. But before then we will have:

Beta team invites for the US version of YA robot novel Crank Tech One: Destruction by Colin R. Parsons, and the US and UK versions of Alien Legends: A Selection from the Repository of Imagination by Gill Shutt. This will be followed by the full launch of our new YA site, www.ataleforatale.com

We also have poetry and prose from Elaine Stirling.

And a collection philosophical science fiction novellas from Andy West who, incidentally, is about to launch a contemporary thriller trilogy co-written with Warhammer 40K legend and Kubrick collaborator, Ian Watson.

Finally, apologies to everyone awaiting Badger’s Waddle by Nigel Edwards. The final artwork is not quite ready. It is worth the wait, I can assure you.
