Forthcoming title: Conjure by Mark West

I’m delighted to announce that later in 2012 we will be publishing a revised eBook edition of Mark West’s novel, Conjure, complete with internal illustrations. Originally published in paperback a few years ago by Rainfall Books, Conjure features a couple on a seaside holiday caught up in a centuries-old cycle of horror. If you enjoyed The Mill, you’ll love this.

Greyhart Press will be at FantasyCon 2012

FantasyCon is the annual convention held by the British Fantasy Society, and this year is held September 28-30 in Brighton, England. Greyhart Press will be there. We haven’t worked out all the details yet, but expect to have some of our authors, editors and artists attending, plus a couple of book launches. Come along and say “hi”, we’d love to meet you.

As an experiment, we’re listing a paperback copy of The Mill as a Goodreads.com giveaway from Monday through Thursday next week. At least, that’s the plan but the Goodreads people have to approve it first.

The Last Sunset beta readers… your wait is nearly over

The last few edits are now in. Early next week we’ll be printing off the advanced review version of the paperback for beta team members. We’ll randomly select beta team members this coming Saturday.

The beta reader idea works like this: we give you an advanced review copy of a paperback book. You read it and alert us to any show-stoppers that got through editing (such as typos). Then, to say thanks, when the final edition is published, we will send you a paperback with your name in the acknowledgements.
